Engine specification
Jeep compass has a two engine option petrol and diesel. With the 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine it produces 161bhp and 250Nm torque. While with the 2.0-litre diesel engine it produces 172bhp and 350 Nm of torque. Both engine are mated with 6-speed manual transmission. While petrol engine gets the option of a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission and diesel engine comes with a 9-speed automatic transmission. Jeep also offered a all-wheel-drive system in the diesel automatic models.
Exterior details
From the front fascia, the Jeep compass gets a traditional seven-box front grille with chrome inserts and sleek LED headlamps with LED DRLs. The front bumper has also gets a redesigned, adding some a black horizontal air intake in the middle flanked by LED fog lamps. From the side profile, It gets a 18-inch alloy wheels are also new, with the five spoke two-tone design. At the rear side are quite similar as the previous generation.
